SHIDDAT MOVIE REVIEW
What all can a person not do in love! Jaggi (Sunny Kaushal) is a young lover. He falls in love with Kartika (Radhika Madan). He changes his life for her, hoping to one day find her. Jaggi believes Kartika is his soulmate. But his journey of love is not so easy. It is full of troubles, facing the truth, and unrequited love. So will Jaggi find his love? Will he be able to prove the extent of his love? 'Shiddat', like its name, is a story of love and devotion.
For Jaggi (Sunny Kaushal), it is love at first sight. Love at first sight. He sees Kartika (Radhika Madan) emerging from the swimming pool. But this spark of love doesn't ignite immediately. As they say, "hate is the first step to love," the story unfolds in a similar fashion. Jaggi tries every possible way to woo Kartika. Director Kunal Deshmukh attempts to captivate us with the love stories of the 90s, giving them a modern setting. However, it's a bit disturbing to see a lover caught in unrequited love, obsessed with a girl who can't take no for granted. The 90s not only featured such stories in abundance, but also celebrated them on the silver screen in the form of songs and dances. "Shiddat" seems very close to this. But the good thing is that writers Shridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Ratan have given the girl full opportunity in the story. She is of today's times. She is independent. She knows how to make her own decisions.
'Shiddat' is a passionate love story, primarily woven around the protagonist, Jaggi. His obsession is madness-like, and ample time is given to convey this feeling to the audience. The first half of the film focuses entirely on campus romance. There's flirting, plenty of dancing, and music. However, the one thing that keeps you hooked is the curiosity about what happens next in this love story.
'Shiddat' doesn't have many characters, but the ones that do exist are well-crafted. Mohit Raina and Diana Penty's storylines lack credibility. They are merely supporting characters within the film's main narrative. The complexity of Sunny Kaushal's character lies in his obsessive lover, who has certain limitations. Yet, he gives his best to prove himself. However, her character's graph fluctuates so much that it becomes hard to believe after a while. Radhika Madan struggles to portray Kartika's inner conflict on screen. Her struggle is clearly visible. Mohit Raina's casting as Gautam is good. He plays an immigration lawyer. Diana Penty looks beautiful in her role, although her character could have been fleshed out a bit more. As a love story, "Shiddat" boasts above-average music by Sachin-Jigar. It captivates you throughout the film. Amalendu Chaudhary's cinematography also impresses.
The biggest problem with "Shiddat" is that while it may seem exciting on paper, it feels stretched when translated. The film, especially in the second half, feels slow. The story sometimes strays far from reality and even seems absurd. However, there's a certain suspense that keeps you hooked as a viewer. It's also true that in today's era of realistic films, we rarely see such a passionate, crazy, and slightly raw love story. "Shiddat" may not overwhelm you, but it definitely leaves an impression. mumbai escorts|| gurugram escorts|| gurugram call girls|| raescort service gurugm|| jaipur escorts|| gurugram call girls||
