Love Aaj Kal Movie Review: Imtiaz Ali tells unique stories about characters immersed in love and tinged with romance. In 2009, he released "Love Aaj Kal," starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. Rishi Kapoor narrates the story, depicting the love and mood of two eras. Now, in 2020, he has released another "Love Aaj Kal." This "Love Aaj Kal" by Imtiaz Ali is similar to the previous film. Not only is the film starring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan named after the previous film, but the story is also the same. Thus, Imtiaz Ali fails to offer anything fresh to the audience, from the title to the story.


"Love Aaj Kal" is the story of Sara Ali Khan, Aarushi Sharma, and Kartik Aaryan. The film is a love story set in two eras: Sara Ali Khan, who shies away from commitment, and Kartik Aaryan, who completely desires Sara. The second, set in a small town, features Kartik Aaryan, who also has his share of troubles with Aarushi Sharma. It's entirely set in the same old film genre. Neither the first half nor the second half is compelling. However, Raghu and Leena's story is somewhat appealing. Imtiaz Ali's direction is quite average.


Love Aaj Kal (Love Aaj Kal Movie Review) doesn't inspire much enthusiasm in terms of acting either. Sara Ali Khan isn't impressive. She comes across as overly loud in several scenes, raising questions about her acting skills. Sara's portrayal of Zoya fails to make an impact. Kartik Aaryan, while good as Raghu, doesn't quite resonate with Veer. Thus, Kartik Aaryan seems to be missing the mark this time around. Newcomer Aarushi Sharma does a decent job. Randeep Hooda's acting is good, and despite having a small role, he wins hearts.


The music in 'Love Aaj Kal' (Love Aaj Kal Movie Review) is good, and some of the songs are heart-touching. However, the story lacks novelty. The acting is quite weak. The direction is also unique.
