CHENNAI EXPRESS MOVIE REVIEW

After nearly a month and a half of promotion, this film starring Bollywood's King Khan, released for the first time on nearly 4,000 screens in India and abroad, has already made it clear that those seeking something new may not enjoy this express train ride. Nearly six years after "Om Shanti Om," the romantic pairing of Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan continues to resonate with audiences. Director Rohit Shetty, who has delivered several box office superhits to date, has recreated many of the elements from his previous successful films in this action-packed romantic love story, made with a budget of approximately eighty crores.

Rohit Shetty developed this script by K. Subhash about five years ago. Meanwhile, Rohit attempted to adapt this script before starting each new film, but the sheer budget required for the project was unsuccessful. Last year, Rohit began working on this expensive project with the help of a major corporate company and his friend Karim Morani. The film's stunning locations, previously unseen in any Bollywood film, are a significant plus point. For the first time in a Hindi film, the action sequences, colorful atmosphere, costumes, and Rohit-style car wrecking scenes are among the film's highlights.

Aside from the lead pair of Shah Rukh and Deepika, most of the film's cast hails from the South. While they are highly recognized in the South, these same actors may prove to be the film's box office weakness in the North.

Story: Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan), nearly forty years old, is still unmarried. Another major reason for Rahul's unmarried life is his love for his grandfather (Lekh Tandon) and grandmother (Kamini Kaushal). His parents died when he was eight years old. Since childhood, Rahul has lived with his grandparents. Suddenly, one day, his grandfather passes away. His last wish was that his ashes be immersed in Rameswaram. Rahul sets off from Mumbai for Chennai by train to fulfill his grandfather's last wish.

On the Chennai train, Rahul meets Meena, also known as Meenamma (Deepika Padukone). Meenamma is traveling to her village, Komban, on the same train. Unbeknownst to Rahul, Meenamma is being forcibly taken back. During the journey, circumstances unfold, forcing Rahul to reluctantly accompany Meenamma to her village. Meenamma's father, Durgeshwara Azhagu Sundaram (Sathyaraj), holds sway in the village. The entire village is ready to kill or die at his command. Motherless, Meenamma is his father's weakness.

Durgeshwara wants to marry his daughter to Tangaballi (Nikitan Dheer), who lives in a nearby village. Meanwhile, Rahul and Meenamma begin to fall in love, but their customs, cultures, and languages are so different that they are unwilling to give up.

Acting: For the first time in this film, Shahrukh Khan performs several action scenes, something he's avoided until now. He probably doesn't even know how many times he's played Rahul. Rahul shows glimpses of Raj from "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge." However, before the interval, Shahrukh failed to do justice to his role. Deepika played the role brilliantly.

Direction: While the pre-release promotions were touted as Rohit Shetty-style, this time his style is significantly weaker than in previous films. Even if the action scenes and stunning locations are ignored, his grip on the script is weak. The story's pace isn't as good as his previous films.

Music: The filming of the song "Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari" is worth watching. The amount of money the producer spent on this song could have made a film with a limited budget! However, due to the typical South Indian touch in the film, there's no song that remains on everyone's lips even after leaving the theater. The music by Vishal-Shekhar has proved to be weak this time.

Why watch: While the excellent locations, the beauty of the South like you've never seen before on screen, Rohit Shetty's action style, and unique locations are the film's plus points, the weak script, Shahrukh's overacting, slow pace, and the excessive South Indian touch are the film's weak points.            gurugram call girls|| call girls in gurugram||   jaipur escorts||    gurugram escort service||             mumbai escorts|| gurugram escorts||
